Anyone seen this?
http://trinityaudiogroup.com/specs.html
Wonder how it sounds. Interesting idea, Linux based.
-
looks intersting. if it's reasonably priced and the A/D is nice it could be a nice option.
-
This page (http://trinityaudiogroup.com/home.html) says it's $1000.
However, the order page makes me wonder about the legitimacy of this company, FWIW.

interesting.
wonder how it sounds.

Nothing like the "close-up photos" being renderings. I also don't see a digital input, which would probably prevent a number of people from taking a chance on an unknown pre/adc.
-
yeah, the rendering of the product makes me really wonder how far into production they have gotten with this one. Could be 100% vaporware.

Yep, looks like vaporware to me......but ya' never know......If it's real.....it looks nice..
Peace,

Good idea, but doesn't look to promising to me either - but who knows. On there site they say in their 7/06 press release it is supposed to be released on 10/2006. You think by now they would at least have pics of a prototype and would not already be taking orders.
Also you think they would have reached out to a couple of audio review companies and get some publicity out there by now.
Here are some other links (again with the nice Rendered pics and all Linux sites):

Looks like they have a prototype... but it looks nothing like the renderings... I love the plexiglass!

there are no email contacts for trinity audio...unfortunately.
if you want to ask questions, you have to write or call.
I'm going to call them and butter up some NicksPicks fanfare.
