Hello MUG and others and thank you for your interest in Valvotronics.  The Optional battery pack for the D-19 Tube DI / Mic Preamp is a Lithium Ion Rechargeable supply about the size of the D-19 Unit itself. Lightweight, rechargechable from your car or home, providing 6-8 hours of battery power under normal use. The D-19 Also works as standalone unit form a normal power source as well, just to clarify.

Feel free to contact us or post if there is anything lese we can help you with.
Best Regards from New York,

Thank you robert,
for coming in. Welcome!

can you go more into details and background of why you came up with a portable tube micpre/d.i?

Is the mic pre transformerless or not?

thanks again

Pretty cool...

Doesn't mention the tube...assuming 12AX7/ECC83?

It does say the tube runs at "high voltage" - I'd like to know how high?

Mic in: accepts any microphone. 600 ohm transformer balanced input, 48 volts available on a switch (#6 above) via 0.1% accuracy resistors.
