Title: How do I post an mp3 to a website?
Post by: GeoPaul7 on April 16, 2007, 11:25:21 PM
This is a basic question.

Who can explain how I post an MP3 recording to a website which I create?

What is recommended software?

Thanks.

so you want to make it play in a Flash Player or just for download?

There are a few Flash Players out there with easy to follow instructions. I've never really tried to get one to work, but I've looked into it and they all seemed fairly easy to set up.

Compress it using winrar or winzip, otherwise you might get banned for uploading mp3
It happned to me once, I purchased a hosting, uploaded some mp3`s and I got banned

I just post it and put a link.....it is that easy.
If you want it to stream, then make an m3u file:

That sounds like the shittiest hosting package on the planet.  No serious hosting provider would do this.
