Title: Connecting my Sony D100 and MMA6000, what for taping settings?
Post by: copecco on April 17, 2007, 12:50:29 PM
Hello,

I will use my Sony D100 with the DPA MMA6000.

I concet the DPA MMA6000 on the line in of my Sony D100.

But how do I handle the record level on the D100 of my Sony and the left en right gain level on the MMA6000?

And what means on the MMA6000 "fiat" and "low cut".

Thanks a lot for helping
Greating from the Netherlands!!!

Connect the MMA6000's output to the D100's line-in using a stereo cable with 3.5mm connectors. I have no idea about the levels. You need to test that for yourself. Just make sure they are always below 0dB.

The flat/low cut is the bass filter. "flat" means no filter, while "low cut" filters the bass (low frequencies). I would recommend the "flat" setting and do any EQing in post on your computer.
