its not he same thing, but gmail offers something like g-disk drive, you can mount one on serwer working as your drive, and then open it on another pc using you account details, or something of that matter.
the con is you need to use your account forthe drive, no switch-overs, unless you want to give your pass to someone.i mean, u can set up an account, just for sharing. but the other person has to set it up aswell. etc.
the pro is - its up to 2gb.
im not using it myself, but seen it doing the right job at friends house.
more info on google.

I just set up an FTP server. No throttling, or limited download numbers or anything.

My domain host gives me a ridiculous amount of space and bandwidth per monthly billing cycle. I just made a sub-domain and put FLAC stuff there. Makes for nice off-site backup. :-D
242168 MB Disk (Grows 1024 MB / week)
2852 GB BW per Cycle (Grows 16 GB / week)

Thanks for all the tips

sorry for the thread revival, but have you seen gspace? Firefox users only. gmail allows 20 meg chunks via email.

Has anyone tried using something like http://www.movedigital.com (http://www.movedigital.com) to host files & torrents?
I have super slow upload at home, but wicked fast at work, where I can't torrent. So my thinking was to upload to a web based host.
Any advice is appreciated,
