Title: Coloring DPA 4061's
Post by: cgresq192 on April 18, 2007, 09:38:29 PM
I have skin colored DPA 4061 capsules. Would it be possible to color them black with a marker? Or will this damage them?

Any help is appreciated

I'm under the impression that you can do this. I've seen it done on Broadway plays.

It is not an issue but I would not darken the screen it will or can change the sound if you clog any of the screens openings. I would use paint not magic marker.. I use Tamiya color paint X18 you can get it at any hobby store. I would carefully remove the cap on the capsule and just use a very fine brush. And take your time and make sure you dont have any paint drips use a very small amount of paint. The magic marker is safer but it wears off.
