Hi,
MM HLSC-1 are awesome sounding mics. To my ears they are great. Problem: they are not exactly micro in size nor lightweight. I've tried everything: clipped on my collar (to visible), clipped on my bag ( just can't keep'em in the right position). Any other HLSC-1 users out there? Any tips?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I'd like to thank everyone for all the PMs. I'm under the impression that is not a good thing to discuss stealh taping so freely. If I did something wrong, please accept my apologies.

I put sharpie marker on the siver part of the mic.

Yeah..That's a good idea. But I've been told that doing so you make your warranty void. Not sure about that though. Thanks for the tip

I'd be kinda upset if they wouldn't fix my mics because of a little sharpie marker. I am not sure why they don't make them black from the start....

I put black Gaffa tape around the silver parts of each mic. It´s easy to remove ;).

Hi Arni,
That's exactly what I did with mine. But the silver grill is the most dificult issue to deal with.

That's what I keep asking to myself!

i also covered the "front-grill" with black colour of some marker ;)

I also sharpied the grill and used black electrical tape for the silver bodies.

So we are all in the same page!

Simply put black windscreens over the HLSCs.
I got chris´(church) cardioids and 9100-preamp yesterday and the windscreens coming with his mics fit perfectly for the HLSCs ;).
