I agree. The auction started at $1,400 & I emailed a buddy that lives about 15 minutes away from there to try and get him to bite. I figured for local pickup only the seller would drop $200-$300 of the original price, but $450 off is ridiculous. I actually thought about going & buying them myself for about 10 seconds, but my wife would have killed me. ;D
maybe...but you'd be happy w/the speakers still.

Yeah the guy lived maybe at most 5 minutes from me. Unfortunately I am a few months off on putting money in to my playback. Hopefully next time. :(

Oh, I don't have to worry about that. She would have killed me because it would have been my second set of VSA VR-4 Gen I speakers. I've already got a pair that she's banished to the loft. No skin off my nose. ;D
