This short footage was shot by peter jackson with Boris and Natasha, the 2 RED prototype cams.

I wish I have $25k so i can get the 'RED ONE'.

They are also making a more price friendly (under $10k ?) prosumer Cam. They are not releasing any details now, but the announcement was made at NAB 2007.

all the new final cut studio ads on the apple site have RED camera's in all of them...makes me wanna sell my car and buy one

I say, provided you are in the right market (big cities), you probably can make your money back just by renting it out to people.
