FOUND I have a PDF of it in case anyone is interested...

A buddy just e-mailed and said that he was told that the analog in path on the 800's benefit from new op-amp's. Does anyone know anything about this? Or better yet have a service manual? Thanks in advance.

Hi. A friend of mine just gave me one of these. I have old band tapes I want to back up to CD. Would love a copy of the manual if anyone still has an e-version + any helpful suggestions anyone has about getting started with his weird, old machine.
