I use the XNJB software on my mac, but i've loaned my jb3 to a guy that has a pc, what should he use to transfer his recordings onto his pc?
-
Check the JB3 FAQ - there's a stickied link to it at the top of this forum.

found it!

ok, the guy I loaned it to cant get it to work right transferring files, could someone just tell me the best software to use for that with XP? thanks

A company called Red Chair makes Notmad Explorer (http://www.redchairsoftware.com/notmad/getnotmad.php) which is what I use on XP Pro SP2. IT is a lot less buggy than the Creative Playcenter, but does cost around $25.

You don't need Creative PlayCenter to transfer files - just the JB3 driver (in the FAQ). I still think it's the best s/w to use. Without knowing precisely what problems / errors / messages your friend's experiencing, it's difficult to help further.

I sent him to the faq and he installed the drivers from nomadness. I'm out of town so i cant just go fix it for him, but he says he can put files onto the jb3 from the pc, but cant get anything he records on it transferred from it to his pc.
