Title: Mic config suggestion in forthcoming open taping

Hi,

I'll be taping a couple of local bands in a few weeks. Got the OK from the organisers but with a condition, as the fest is going to be sold out, my stand will be nearly at the end of the hall or maybe in the SDB area. Don't know where the hell could be set the SDB, but I guess I'll be a 10-15 meters from the stage.

That made me think which config would be the right one to record. I was thinking on DIN-A config, but I'm a real newbie in open taping right (just recorded one show last week, nothing more, with this same config and the results were great).

Any advise of any kind will be very helpful!

when in doubt, point at/outside the stacks.
