Title: AKG 300 mounting options with actives
Post by: hzgone on May 09, 2007, 01:24:19 PM
I'm looking for a nice low pro setup for the 39x's with actives, has anyone made or know of something like the kwon bar for these?

I used a DIY setup.  Take 12 or 14 ga. house wire (with plastic insulating coating), and wrap a loop just over 1" diameter for each mic.  Tape or glue to hold the loop.  The windscreens have an indentation, so you can slip the mics in the loops and they'll hold great.  Arrange the wires for your pattern, that's it...
