Title: Shure e2 in ear phones customer service
Post by: sygdwm on May 10, 2007, 03:28:43 AM
i got a pair of these well over 2 yrs ago for cycling and cutting the grass. so, needlessly to say, i sweated (i live in MS) alot. well, eventually one phone failed over time, i assume to moisture. anyways, long story short, the warranty expired the same month this occurred. so, i filled out the online form and sent them in last week. come home today and i got a brand new pair no charge. sweet. that is all.

Shure is pretty good about that type of thing.  They are such a big company it's easier for them to chuck the broken stuff in a pile and ship a new replacment, at least for the low to mid priced stuff.  They did the same thing with a couple of pairs of our E5's.  They were probably close to 2 years out of warranty and they just sent us new ones, no extra charge. Yonder had alot of Shure stuff, and I never had anything but great dealings with Shure.  +T for new in-ears for you!

i had a pair of e3's fail on me (under warranty) and had no problem getting a new pair (in about a week too).  After loosing the replacement pair I received, I decided to buy the e4's.  Within a month, I torn the cable by closing it in a car door.  I sent it in for "repair" and got a new pair back for free.  I'm definitely a fan of shure.

With a pair of diagonals and a soldering iron. ;)

shure is the best.  I'm on my third pair of e2c's due to the cable cracking in the same spot (right by the ear) due to extreme cold and sweat/moisture.  They sent out a new pair in a retail box every single time...no bs, no hassles.
