Title: STEALTHY MICROPHONE ADVICE FOR A BEGINNER

I am planning on taping a couple of rock concerts this summer of my favorite band mostly cause I don't know how many more chance I will have to see them. This is loud hard rock and roll in aprox 10,000 seat venues. After much research online I purchases an Edirol R-09. I think now I need to invest in a stealthy mic set up. I am hoping to not go to crazy with this and feel comfortable spending a few hundred at most! in addition to what I have already spent, I am not planning on being a pro here. I am debating between these Core Design High end or Low cost Biaurals at this point. Will the difference be very obvious to me in the end? Will the Low cost unit blow a Sony ECM-DS70P $75 mic out of the water? I really just wanna not spend a fortune but get result I will be happy listening to. If I didn't want it to sound live I can always listen to the studio recorded albums right? Any other suggestions are welcome as well. Thanks so much!!

yes, you will hear a big difference to your sony mic when using the church cards or other mics in the 200$ range.

Post by: afri-cola-man on May 12, 2007, 10:43:11 AM: I say go for Church Audio Cards combined with a CA Pre (9000 or 9100) and a rockboxed IRIVER120/140. Small & light-weighted & great sound.
