Anyone tried this using the microdot>XLR adapters?

Anyone have some of those adapters to loan out so I can try this?

the DB2 doesnt do 48V, just 18 or 9 iirc.

I need to get an adapter.  I'd love to try this and there are some shows coming up where this could be handy.
