Anyone used or know about the Fostex MC10 series? They are generally found in a stereo set with cardioid caps only, but I found this 2 cap set-up, too... Looks kind of interesting in the budget mic category... Anyone?

Looks like a Superlux mic to me.

The packaging is clearly from one of the Chinese factories. I cannot really say which, it might be 797Audio. The capsule looks similar, but the amplifier looks different. They can make you mics to just about any specification (as does the other factories). If you buy a few hundreds you can brand them any way you like. They have a nice setup of stuff and is moving towards selling more and more under their own brand. In a few years time I guess we will start brand name recognizing the Chinese mics.
