I was going to make some dead rats out of material I found but last Tuesday I went to show a in a barn (open on three sides) w/ a lot of wind blowing in and I don't hear one bit of wind on my recording. I was using the stock covers and when ya check them out they are pretty thick. Recording is below and trust me Cayucos California gets really windy and the barn had real high catherdal ceiling and wind was blowing straight in from behind me.

If you're in a pinch - look at the ones Radio Shack sells - Some of the screens made for vocal mics fit nicely on LD sized condensers.

Thanks cincy! ;)

i guess i just need to give em a try and see.  im getting geared up for summer events and wanna be prepared with these mics.  i was pretty comfy with the senns, the TL's are new to me...

i wish i could get the lightwave screens for these.  i would be bullet proof then.  i ran the senns with them on during one bitch of a mountain storm at red rocks amp one yr, never heard a thing in the recordings...other than lots thunder and 3 inches of rain in 3 hrs. :yikes:
