Anyone know what is max spl on the r-09 onboard mics?
I have asked edirol by phone and email and they have no clue.

Hi,

I'm not an expert and, no, I don't know what the max SPL on the R-09 mics is.
But I'm a (happy) R-09 user and I can tell you one thing: with the internal mics, I've only pulled decent sounding tapes in small clubs (no proper PA, intruments amps only). If you have to face a PA, you're in trouble. I've learned my lesson. Right now I can't even think about not using external mics. I use MM HLSC-1 mics, which can handle very, very, very high SLP.
Just my 2 cents. Hope that helps.
Peace and happiness ;D
