Post by: EYES on June 17, 2007, 01:47:44 AM
using mt at warren &ratdog show on thurs., patched with s/pdif in, had low sound on headphones. between sets i set up my nt4<mt on soundboard with quick release clamp & 3368 arm.used kingston 4gb cf for warren, when i switched to nt4<mt i used my 4gb microdrive. open files today, warren's set shows bullshit riff chunk. ratdog sounds just fine no problem. this happened one other time. was wondering am i fucking up some where or does this shit just happen.         eyes

I think riff chunk has something to do with the .wav file header or exceeding the file size limit of 2GB, not really sure? Someone with more experience will chime in soon enough with a helping hand, don't give up just yet.

When you have to go to Stanford to get the definition you are getting plenty deep.  Woohoo!   8)

been down this road before. riff chunk is a type of file. it can be opened with lots of searching, time & effort.than again at the end of all your time & efford you can still not have your music file just alot of numbers.i am lucky to have been with other cool tapers who will send copy of warren for my listening pleasure.so yes if you have a chunk file and are going to edu. stanford you are going deep.      EYES
