Title: Edirol R-09 New Firmware Update for 8gb SDHC?

Hi,

It's been about 5 months since 1.20 was released for the R-09.  Folks in the 1.20 announcement thread said 8gb support was coming in the new 1.30 firmware. 

Anyone heard anything about the promised 1.30 update which will enable 8gb SDHC cards?

I heard nothing besides the info you can find here.
I think the wait since 1.20 has been relatively long.
I phoned their belgian support some time ago to explain the 8GB issue and recently sent them an email as well.

The filesystem code appears to be OK so it is merely about fixing the 2GB split issue?

No idea. As the R-09 FAQ maintainer, I was waiting to see if the FAQ would need updating soon etc.

But, it does seem like a looong time for a firmware update...
