Title: Interior Diameter of Schoeps sgcm/sgc microphone clips?
Post by: grider on June 28, 2007, 10:35:17 AM
I need mic clips for my AKG 480 active gear, and by my measurement the diameter of the extension rod connected to the back of the JK Labs connector which screws into the ck61/62/63 series caps is 7 milimeters in diameter, so I'm wondering if the Schoeps sgc (plastic) would work, anyone know? I can't find the specs for this clip on the Schoeps website, any input appreciated; alternatively, the DPA csm4000 shockmount appears like it would work too, but lower profile clips would be my preference, thanks

I don't have a proper measurement device, but as best I'm able to figure with my ruler, the inner diameter of my Schoeps SGC clips is 8mm.

I don't have a proper measurement device

When without a set of calipers, open end wrenches make pretty good substitutes if you don't need accuracy to two deciaml places.
