Title: Reliable software to Direct Transfer MD shows to HDD
Post by: phriq on July 01, 2007, 12:31:23 PM
hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone new of any 'reliable' software to directly transfer music from my sony net md recorder to my hard drive. After every show i record i have to always do a real time analog tranfer by playing the show on my md and recording it with cool edit pro and i fear i am losing some quality due to this. I have heard that there are programs that allow you to just copy the show over but taht they are not very reliable. do you guys know of any that ARE reliable. what are their names and where can they be found. thanks in advance!

you have to have the MZ-RH1 / RH10 to do digital transfers of old mds

with regular md player - real-time is all you have  :(

I think you are SOL.  The minidisc.org board has a package to download form a guy in England (http://www.marcnetsystem.co.uk/) but it is for HiMD only.  You will have to follow the path pointed out by beefstew.   Sorry.
