Title: D8 power connecter type
Post by: phishn on October 30, 2003, 09:00:58 PM
Hi all,

What is the male power connecter end that plugs into a D8 dat?  I'm trying to make a new cable and I believe its a "b" end but can't seem to get it to work.

No need to redo.  I had the adaptaplug backwards and all works.  Just learned that some devices have the tip/ring reversed from others...like the UA-5.

Glad you're all set.  FWIW, the UA-5 is the only piece of gear I've seen with + ring, - tip.  I'll never understand why they did it that way.
