Hi all,
What is the male power connecter end that plugs into a D8 dat? I'm trying to make a new cable and I believe its a "b" end but can't seem to get it to work.

Ahem. :P Check the archives (http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?board=14;action=display;threadid=3786;start=msg34615#msg34615).

Thanks for the link Brian...and for helping me out all over this board.

It is the B that i have with the right end. I'll redo the contacts..must be where its malfunctioning.

No need to redo. I had the adaptaplug backwards and all works. Just learned that some devices have the tip/ring reversed from others...like the UA-5.

Glad you're all set. FWIW, the UA-5 is the only piece of gear I've seen with + ring, - tip. I'll never understand why they did it that way.
