Title: MR-1 Set-up to accept stereo signal
Post by: waltmon on July 03, 2007, 01:45:43 PM
...no problems using the included stereo mic into the 2 in-puts, But I cannot figure out how to set up so I can send it stereo signal through 1 of the inputs. I have it set to line in, but only get mono when sending a stereo signal.

HELP!

I believe those are balanced inputs. They are designed to only take one channel, so you can never use one to input stereo.

My understanding is during line in mode, you can adjust something in the gain to use only one of the inputs...maybe I am understanding wrong.

So I'll need some funky cables that terminate in mono 3.5mm mini?

I used the second one out of the mma6000 the other night, np.

There are a bunch of xlr > 3.5 shorties around, too.

I thought the l/r inputs on the MR1 accept balanced and unbalanced?
