Title: Combining Similar But Separate Sources for a 4 mic mix with Sound Forge 8 or 9
Post by: dactylus on July 13, 2007, 05:11:06 PM

Hello,

I have another SoundForge question.  Can I produce a 4 mic mix with Sound Forge by combining 2 similar BUT separate sources?

If the answer is YES how do I "mix" or combine the 2 sources at different at say a 60% / 40% ratio?  How would I sync the two sources?

If I can't use Sound Forge to do this what is the best ECONOMICALLLY priced software that I could use for this task?

 :P

thanks guys,

David

Audacity (free), Samplitude SE ($50).  I like SSE more:  broader feature set, sounds better, but steeper learning curve.
