Title: ISO inexpensive MIC->USB solution....

Hello!

I have a friend that does some translation work and needs to get a dynamic mic into a pc so she can email it as an mp3 file. It's just voice work, likely going to mp3 at a low bit rate, so fidelity is not a great concern. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I don't know what the quality is like, but I've seen a Samson USB mic that might fit the bill:

Other than that, there are quite a few really cheapy computer mics around, but I remember using one to record a lecture a few years back and it was horrible, gave me a right headache (even more so than that particular lecturer, anyway).
