I've searched and can't find anything.
My friend has an Archos Gmini 400 that he got recently and is considering putting Rockbox on it. I sent him the link to Rockbox website and I took a look myself for Archos builds and can't find anything specific for this model.
Just wondering if there is a build (stable) for this recorder?? Also, what options does it have for recording purposes?? Does it have Gain control like on the Irver Rockbox??
Thanks,
Simon.

"The Gmini 400 series will not be supported. These devices have a complete different architecure."

I used a 220 & a 400 several times to record from a preamp/AT853 setup... there is a input gain control with the built in recording software and level meters that work very well.
I loved the size of the 220 and the battery was great... the one drawback is that dongle/Y-adapter you have to use to record... one side is the line in and the other is the headphone out.... but you HAVE to use the Y-adapter thing to get a line in... so DO NOT lose it...
There is no mic power or mic input at all for that matter... you need a preamp for your mics... or use a line out of another recorder.
They record in 16/44.1 PCM Wav or ADPCM Wav... or various mp3 formats too I think. Use the 16/44.1 PCM for best quality.
hope that helps.
