Title: Help fixing a recording. The Police - Toronto
Post by: simon151 on July 29, 2007, 10:46:06 PM
I recorded the Police last monday at the ACC, and it doesn't really sound good, kinda bassy
Normally I record at smaller venues so I guess maybe I had the recording levels to high
so I've been trying to figure out if its possible to fix but I can seem to get it right.
Any suggestions? I have attached a sample...
WAV sample 46MB

hi

a LOT of bass, absolutely. in my opinion, you need to lower frequencies below 100Hz by at least 20db - make that a soft roll-off. however, I don't know if your gear distorted because of the probably very high sound pressure levels.
