Hi all,
Can you recommend anyone modding mics in Europe?
I have a pair of AT853Rx that I want to chop off, attach mini-XLRs to, plus adding female mini-XRLs to the trunk end, so I can reconnect to the phantom modules when needed.
The purpose would be to run the mini-XLRs into a st-9100 or 3-wire BB for stealthing. Right now I just have the UA5...
I know there are a few good souls across the pond here on TS doing these mods, but I'm apprehensive of being away from my mics for a longer time.
Can you recommend anyone in Europe (maybe even in Scandinavia?) doing these mods?
TIA,
Jan

Hi Jan. I do all my cabling myself. A bit of modding as well, and this sure sounds like a simple thing. Not my profession, only hobby, but will help. Let´s talk on the phone, my number is 08-7559350 or 073-9641575.

+T for the offer! As soon as I get my BB or pre, let's get this rolling.
BTW, leegeddy posted pictures that could be useful when doing the mod:

Maybe there are more DIY pics on how to rewire AT mics here on TS, but these are the most relevant I found.
