Post by: jpschust on November 05, 2003, 10:13:48 AM
In this process of building my studio I want to rackmount my machine.  What do people suggest as the quietest cases/fans?

I worked for a company called Pelco in California. They manufactured a bunch of different rack mounts but, although versatile, they were loud as fuck, so I don't know if you'd want that....

www.newegg.com sells a bunch of rackmount cases... though they're really pricey, if you're not going to build a speciffically rackmount system, you may want to just check into buying yourself a shelf for your rack to put your existing case on and then think about a rackmount system for your next pc...
