Title: Normalizing Levels in Sound Forge
Post by: hzgone on November 05, 2003, 01:02:56 PM
What settings do people use peak level? Average RMS power?  Do you scan levels and use the highest peak.  Would like to get some info on this to correct some things in my last recording.  I have quite a few low and high spots from trying to get the levels correct.

if you "normalize" use the peak level.
from what you are describing, a envelope filter sounds like it would be more beneficial
