Are there any other outputs besides the soundboard that I could plug into for a patch not using mics? (I am in with the band)

unless there is seperate mix that the soundboard engineer is running all you have is the sbd, sorry my man, you said your in the band, who are you?

this is very true and i cant see why you wouldnt want to patch out of mics

not knowing how your engineer mixes limits us, but you can sub-group certain channels togethor in a seperate mix(usually matrix out or aux sends).
of course, if you want everything the board is sending to the PA, you can use main out or tape out.
I agree with the rest in pulling a aud source.the only time I pull a sbd out is if Im mixing with mics...straight sbd is very harsh and strerile sounding

With a band I tape all the time I can get a feed from the monitor mix, but that's only because I know the guy that runs the monitors. His mix rocks, though, because he mixes it for himself (he records every show). :)
