Title: Studio Projects C4 hyper sample

I don't think I've come across any C4 hyper recordings yet so I thought there might be some interest in this.  I was taping an outdoor free show in a park by the Waybacks, set up about 50 feet from the stage, DFC.  I was running my LSD2 Blumlein but the guy next to me was trying his brand new C4 hyper caps, point-at-stacks config. We were both running our stands at about 8 feet.

Here is a sample with the hypers (C4 hypers > Dmod UA5 > D8 > audio CD burner > FLAC):

For cheap hypers, I think the bottom end is pretty good.  Probably more than my LSD2 picked up, but Blumlein will roll off the bass.  For comparison, my LSD2 recording is here:

Good to hear they were not lying to me about being close to being available publicly.  I was promised them back In June but sold my set of c4's before they started shipping.  Thanks for the samples. +

Which track on LMA does this compare to?  Also, I wonder if C4's are always a little boomy, I always found that true.
