Title: Cue Sheet Help
Post by: dennisrtyler on September 17, 2007, 11:48:37 AM
ok this is my first time trying this cue sheet dealio so be patient :P. i just tracked out my 24 bit file with cdwav and saved the cue sheet. now i want to track out the 16 bit file. i don't have to repeat the tracking process do i? won't the cue sheet do this for me? i've tried a couple different ways and keep getting my 24 bit files duplicated instead of the 16 bit file tracked out like the 24 bit. could someone please provide the work flow for using a 24 bit cue sheet to track the 16 bit version? TIA!!

Load the 16 bit file into cd wave. load the cue sheet. it will ask you if you want to open the associated file(which is the 24 bit file) and you will click no. save the tracks and you should be done.

It's been a while since I used CD Wav but I think you can just drag/drop the cue sheet file into CD Wav, and viola!  Your 16 bit file is tracked just like the 24 bit.
