I seem to recall that some recorders do not do a 16Bit A>D conversion when running line in...is the iRiver in this category ? Someone told me once that these can actually be really crappy 1Bit converters; that would suck as I'm working on a low-pro rig and would not like to have to add an AD....I already have an apogee for open taping.
