Unfortunately, Mayah (the company) is absolutely not known for reasonable prices. Small wonder as their customers (http://www.mayah.com/customers/overview.htm) (German State Television, primarily) aren't known for reasonable cost efficiency either.

In this context, the reported price (http://whatcaughtmyeye.blogspot.com/2007/10/flashman-ii-from-mayah-germany.html) of around 2500 Euro is plausible.

With respect to specs (http://www.mayah.com/products/flashman2-tech-data.htm) I think it's not reasonable. I do think there are better deals for this kind of money.

Down to 1750 Euro now:

Still, with the specs of a a pimped-up Zoom H4, no sensible person would pour his own money into their gear. :P
