Title: input levels on the edirol R09!

This is a question to all you people recording rock shows with an edirol R-09 using line in.

What input levels do you think is the optimal?  Interested to know if you have the same idea as i have and if there is consensus about this or not!

I peak at -6 to -3 when recording and adjust as needed in post-production.  What input level? All depends on the how loud your sound source is.  I don't think there is a magic number.  There is an ongoing discussion about what the unity setting is further down the page.
