Title: Question for Korg MR1 / Audiogate users
Post by: wklitz on October 14, 2007, 09:23:20 PM
Why is it I have no problems with Audiogate converting the 1 BIT DSD file to 16/44.1khz, but when transferring from 1 bit to 24/96 I am getting quite a bit of hiss? What am I doing wrong or not doing?  I have tried this with a few shows I recorded with the same results.

Trying to make up a 24/96 version of the Camden Phil & Friends, the 16 bit (currently on Etree) kicks ass.

I have now tried a 24/48 transfer and it came out fine.  For the hell of it, I did a 96khz transfer AGAIN and still had hiss.

Someone told me this problem has been discussed here, but I cannot seem to find the thread.
