Title: Carrying case / bag for a MiniMe?
Post by: jlykos on October 15, 2007, 08:30:17 AM
All this talk about bags has me thinking of dumping the RakGear that I have in favor of something better.  What kind of bag fits a MiniMe?  I am looking at some of the Portabrace and Kata models, but I don't know which ones would fit a MiniMe and some full-size mics (Gefells).  Would a Sonic Case work?  A LowePro?  Can anybody provide some assistance for this?

Apogee has its own bag that fits it perfectly.  It has a zipper on the back for cables and a little extra pocket that fits an MT.

Here's a picture of a mini-me in that bag:

Thanks for the link, but I am looking for something a little bit bigger that will also hold my mics, the 15' cables, and my preamp.  Know of anything?

I use a Mountainsmith Cairn II for my Mini-Me > Microtracker.  My minime is also contained within the Apogee bag, which is a little tight but it works.  I have enough room for my slim 15' cables, microphones being carried in a padded sunglass case, 12k mah SLA and a wally world battery.  I use the mesh carrying sides for tupperware containers which hold misc stuff.
