Title: uttorent help

i am trying to upload to TLH, i put in the correct address with the torrent seeing as i usuall use bt
i get failure "reason 22"
i tried to go to uttorents page but can't seem to post there.
i know many folks here use Ut. so figure i'd ask her

tlh?  traders little helper?  are you using it to create a torrent??  if so just use utorrent to create the torrent.  open utorrent and click on the little wand icon.

i meant traders den. i figured it out threw there forum. weird, you have to dl your torrent from there site. it's up there now.
i don't know why the questonaire is coming up on my post, another question for here

gotcha.  pretty much all private sites you have to do that.

The reason for this is that on private sites track your upload/download ratio. One way of doing this (and the most common) is to attach a personally identifiable code to the torrent file when you download it. Then basically the torrent you download says to the tracker "hey, it's me and I want to access this torrent". If the tracker doesn't see a personally identifiable code, then it assumes you're trying to rob the system and won't let you connect. So, you have to send them the .torrent file, then download it from them with a code on it that says that "it's you" when you access the .torrent file. Then the tracker lets you in and keeps track of all those good upload credits.
