Title: Typical Overburn Time

typically speaking, how much time will software, say nero, allow on overburns? TIA

IIRC, it depends on the media, not the software.  EAC will report actual achievable burn times.  Don't know if Nero will do the same (I suspect not).

Should be able to do 82 minutes
