Title: AT U853's vs. AT 943's?

Just curious which are better in your opinion? 

I know the U853's are new...is the only difference the unigard coating if compared to the regular AT 853's?  Anyone know?

Also, I think these would be okay to run into one of Chris' ST-9100 preamps...correct?
