A friend of mine apparently has some SONAR files he wants converted to WAV. Is there any other program he can use to convert the files to WAV? I was curious if WaveLab supported the files from SONAR?
Apparently he recorded these tracks on a computer not his own and he cannot convert them on his version of SONAR as he appears to be missing plug-ins. I have never used SONAR so I really have no clue what is involved in converting to a usable format.
TIA!

Sonar uses WAV files, just like any other program. Sounds like your friend is trying to open the Sonar project files, but there's nothing that is going to make the plugins magically reappear if he doesn't have them loaded on his computer.
He has to go back to the computer he recorded them on and export all his files individually with effects if he wants to keep the plugin sounds.

I will ask. That sounds reasonable. Thanks for the quick response. I shall see what he has to say!
