I would really like to techflex my Neumann active cables together, but I don't know how I would do that since I can't remove the ends to slip on the techflex.
Can anyone reccomend a good way to join my active cables together without using those plastic cable ties, or gaffers tape?
Any help would be appreciated,
John

velcro cables ties. I cut them into 1/3's and use them to hold my actives together. Works like a champ

stumbled across this stuff recently. might work? not sure.

Cold shrink tape -- great stuff! Stretch it as you wrap it around, and it forms a solid rubber mass, no glue or residue. You can just carefully cut it off if you don't want it anymore.

Would heat shrink work?
EDIT: I like Todd's idea better.

Thanks for the great idea Todd! I just ordered a few rolls. Looks like a great solution!

Excellent -- cool stuff! Too late for you, but I should've mentioned: this stuff goes farther than you think, since you stretch it to 2-3 times its nominal length as you apply it.

home depot has this too
in the pipe section, common for covering leaks
you stretch it out as you wrap and it tightens down on whatever you wrap it around, didn't work for my leak but i could see it holding stuff together :)

+T Brotha! I am getting this stuf in hopes it makes coiling my Leegeddy's up any easier, cause theyre a real bitch to coil :( Thats yet another reason I run my MBHO's alot recently, since the actives coil up with EASE!

3M's silicon fusion tape is a better choice than the cold fusion tape based on my experience with the two

I am going to try that cold shrink tape and the Techflex F6 to go over my Leegeddy's :) I'll let yinz know which method I prefer!

can you use this stuff around mic cable so to keep the 2 cables together instead of having 2 seperate coiled cable.
for example, DPA 4022 mic cable--using it to keep together during Jedi missions?

absolutely. i used small pieces of gaffers tape every foot or so around my ccm cables.
