Title: audacity preview/bypass
Post by: panther65 on November 21, 2007, 10:27:54 AM
I'm wondering if there is some work-around in Audacity when previewing a section of file when editing so that you can bypass and immediately see the difference of the edited and unedited section. Other programs such as Samp and others have a bypass button you can click to see the difference.

Dude, you should be learning SAM instead of dorking around with Audacity!  :P

(Sorry, can't answer your question directly.)

I've not found a preview fx either.  Do post back if you find one, please.  It'd be a hell of a time saver.

I'll continue to try to learn sam. It took me quite a while to learn aud, but I'll keep plugging along.

There is a 250+ page manual for SAM8 that I have in PDF form.  If you do not have it, or cannot find it on the web, let me know and I can e-mail it to you.  It is 4K so I cannot attach it.  I have SAM9, too.

Cheers
