Title: where to get a mic stand?

anyone know of the best option for a mic stand?  are there standard sizes that most rigs use?  planning on picking up this t mount to use with my church audio cards - http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-GNA-3.  please let me know if there are any sites with quality products out there or good deals on ebay.

Manfrotto Bogen make some of the better stands out there.  Right now I am getting by with a Dynatran (cheapy) that I bought from Ebay. (do search query "Dynatran")

You will probably need a 3/8 > 5/8 adapter as well. Sound Professionals, MicSupply, etc all have them.

I recently purchased this 12foot+ stand (http://tinyurl.com/2uyy29 (http://tinyurl.com/2uyy29))from b&h at what I consider to be a very good price.  It's not the super heavy duty kind but it serves my needs and I'm happy with it.

I know there have been some people that really like that T-mount but I just can't see how it possibly can bend to get those ends in all the configurations you might want to try.  Maybe I'm just not underestimating the flexibility of the gooseneck?  Check out this stereo bar (http://tinyurl.com/2qlq2w (http://tinyurl.com/2qlq2w)) from b&h.  At half the price of the gooseneck, it can handle pretty much any config and will probably last forever.

i got my stand at the local music/instrument shop.  paid $45, and it came with a stereo bar.

it weighs roughly 8 lbs, has a boom attachment, and will easily do 12 feet with everything extended.

however, the stereo bar that came with it isnt the best, but it does the trick for AB, NOS, and XY.

ive used my church cards with it (mine came with the clip...just clip it on a mount and configure it), and my nak 300s.
