Title: Help in MT configuration for SP-C4 + bm2p+ UA-5
Post by: lordbelial on December 14, 2007, 09:01:55 AM
Hi,

Tomorrow I'm taping a local band and I'd like to give a try to my MT in the field.

So I'm gonna run SP-C4 + UA-5 bm2p+ Coax in through the Microtrack, but there's a lot of switches and I cannot figure out how to configurate (I've read the user manual)

So...I guess I have to disable the 27 db boost, and set Phantom OFF, but, does the L/M/H switch affect when you're getting a digital signal?

Thanks for the space.

When you do spdif input, a lot of those settings are overwritten.  Turn the Phantom off.  I don't know if it makes a power drain difference but, why bother having it on.  L/M/H has no effect.

27db off
phantom off
bits 24 (chances are, i assume anyway)
sample auto
i always leave lmh on l for other recording, in this case as stated before it doesn't matter

ua5...
advanced switch on back on
phantom on
lo z
48 or 96 knob to one of those
