Title: Digital Recorder with auto level?
Post by: kylieshotpants on December 14, 2007, 02:47:20 PM
Hi

I tape comedy shows using a mini disc recorder that has auto level adjustment.

It works fine but I have to upload to my pc to edit etc.

Are there any digital recorder's that anyone can recomend whether they be flash based, hard drive or removable media.

A mic input is needed.

The Marantz PMD620 has automatic level control, as do the PMD660 and PMD670...

The Zoom H2 also has an automatic gain control setting, although this recorder has a problem with noise using the mic-in.

Rockbox recording has AGC with different modes.
iriver h1x0 and h3x0 have it enabled, iaudio X5 not.
