Crackling and cut out on one channel, believe it is output related. Shuts down during play. Anyone know where to send or have any ideas?

Trey this is the amp I sold you? I am really sorry if it is, get in touch with me if there is anything I can do to help. Did you try swapping speakers & cables on that channel of it is only one side?

yes that's the one carl. I am sending it off for repair and tune-up, just have to figure out how to get it out of the wooden box, take the glass out and put the box back on

There is a release button on each side of the chassis & it will slide right out of the wooden case. I am not sure how to remove the glass but I think it is fairly simple since it is replaced often?

worthy of the effort, whatever it may be.
the sound of that amp still resonates in my brain.
